Release 1.0 design competition

RELEASE1.0 is for fashion, product and graphic designers, record label executives, illustrators and anyone who has ever dropped into a museum or gallery shop only to leave soon after with the percussion of disappointment still throbbing in their ears. And let's face it, who hasn't?

RELEASE1.0 is an international design competition looking for designers who think they can conceive a fresh, new product for the museum or gallery shop with a little more panache and ingenuity than "The Ubiquitous Coffee Mug", and who aren't afraid of a challenge.

A highly-esteemed jury from the retail, design and publishing elite will select winners in three categories and the products will be sold online at culturelabel.com and offline at institutional partners such as ICA, London and Deutsche Guggenheim, Berlin. This competition gives you the opportunity to make your mark in culture.

The three winners from three price categories will also get free product development and revenue share on sales. Any artist submitting ideas as part of the competition will retain full ownership of the idea because the competition also functions as an IP registration
