RIP Vidal Sassoon - Legendary hairstylist dead at 84

Vidal Sassoon, the legendary hairstylist, died of "apparent natural causes" at his Los Angeles home Wednesday morning, a Los Angeles police spokesman said. He was 84.

He had been battling leukaemia for three years. His creative, geometric cuts required little styling. They were an integral part of the look of Mary Quant, the superstar fashion designer who popularized the miniskirt.
