OBEY Sound & Vision (Shepard Fairey x Z-Trip)

Shepard brought along friend and collaborator Z-Trip to supply the soundtrack to the artwork at the Opening of Sound & Vision at StolenSpace Gallery on October 19th.

Sound & Vision at StolenSpace Gallery featured an incredible collaboration between Shepard and Z-Trip. In Shepard’s vision art and music are kindred spirits, and as the work began to develop, Fairey reached out to producer and DJ, Z-Trip to create a soundtrack that embodies the spirit of the show. Z-Trip went to work immediately to produce something worthy of Fairey’s vision. Z-Trip expresses “Shepard does visually what I do musically. We have many of the same influences, it made perfect sense for us to collaborate on Sound & Vision, I was honored to do it.” Be sure to mark your calendars and be one of the lucky to experience this art and music phenomenon.
