Painter: Luke Chueh (Profiles)

Thrash Lab in collaboration with Giant Robot "Profiles" painter Luke Chueh, a celebrated and powerfully successful artist living in Los Angeles. Earlier in Luke's career, his work was tied-down with his drug usage and today he's defeated his demons and is currently enjoying the artistic process sober. In this video Luke Chueh explains why his paintings usually contain a central image of a beloved animal and how the colors and the drive behind them carry a heavy meaning.
