We walk and talk for culture! And you?

WALK&TALK is multi-dimensional and participative public art festival that annually transforms the Island of São Miguel in a privileged stage for contemporary art. In it's 3rd edition, W&T showcases a broughter circuit of public art interventions and a program with colective exhibitions, workshops, music, performance and a lot of conversation.

WALK&TALK aims to foster networks and partnerships between cultural operators, in a logic of sustainable and autonomous creation, capable of generating socio-economic opportunities for the region. It enhances new ways of thinking, interpretation and renewed visions within the Azorean population.

This year the Festival will assume itself as a space and privileged moment for the presentation and dissemination of arts, incorporating the format of an international art residence, crossing the Azorean talent and creativity with artists, curators and cultural players from around the world.

Who are we?

Anda&Fala - Interpretação Cultural is a non-profit cultural association dedicated to public space intervention and social awareness through art. It was founded in early 2011 with a vision of dynamizing the Azores through cultural investment. It’s activities are focused in promoting and activating contemporary artistic expressions.

Anda&Fala works in partnership with other local organizations and entities that are part of the Walk&Talk creative network, standing as co-creator agent of the Azorean creative ecosystem.

What we need

This year, in order to continue the construction of a public museum in São Miguel Island, and to enhance the participation of the local comunity, artists and their ideias, we need your help!!

The support that we ask is used directly in the logistics of the festival, ie the materials! We're talking about all the materials that artists will use in their interventions and all associated logistics. It goes from the simple adhesive tape, to iron or cranes. Everything is important.

All artists are participating voluntarily, so it is essential to ensure all the materials they need.

Impact > what do you gain supporting WALK&TALK?

You gain an outdoor museum. Democratic. Accessible to a community, increasingly in contact with art. But essencially you gain a creative destination to visit in the middle of the atlantic, in a paradise island that combines art, creativity and nature!

Other Ways You Can Help

You can come and visit the Azores during WALK&TALK, participating and helping the artists and organization. Creative vacations!
