President’s Design Award 2007

Established in 2005, the President’s Design Award is Singapore’s most prestigious award for its designers and designs. It recognises the significant achievements and contributions of the nation’s design talents. The spirit of the Award encourages design excellence that improves quality of life, enhances human potential and national competitiveness. The first awards given in 2006 recognised 2 Designers of the Year and 7 Designs of the Year.

All nominees must be Singapore citizens or permanent residents of Singapore, and includes those who have produced their designs overseas and/or who live overseas.

The nomination process is in two stages:
Stage A - Submission of nominations and citations by the public - Closing Date: 5pm (SGT), 30 April 2007
Stage B - Submission of portfolios / projects and supporting documents by nominated designers - Closing Date: 5pm (SGT), 1 June 2007
